Each year, in the spirit of adventure and curiosity of Jeanne Baret, we award up to $30,000 to various students who apply for the scholarship in our application. These scholarships, awarded for achievement and promise rather than financial need, provide meaningful support toward tuition and help open the Baret experience to more students from around the world.

the Jeanne Baret Scholarship option when completing the application form.
Baret offers need-based financial aid to help families bridge the gap between their resources and the cost of a Baret year.
These are our most substantial funding awards, and therefore our most competetive. They are offered to a small number of students with demonstrated financial need. These awards generally cover more than one-third of tuition and fees. Applicants must complete an additional, multi-stage financial assistance process, including detailed information about guardian finances.
