There is no one mold for a Baret Scholar. We are looking for
independent and dynamic students of the world seeking their best
year yet. All of our scholars demonstrate a deep sense of curiosity
and care — both for themselves and the people around them.

Every student who applies to be a Baret Scholar is reviewed holistically: we seek to understand who you are, what drives you, and how you see this journey around the world amplifying the larger journey of your life.
Our applications are open
Baret offers 4 rounds of admission for each year. As is the case with many universities, the probabilities of admission are higher for students who apply in our earlier rounds. Our
deadlines for 2025-2026 are as follows:
*For students needing an earlier decision from Baret in order to defer a
college acceptance, we will provide a decision on April 28th.
